About the Role
GreenStripe is seeking a creative, organized, and highly motivated Social Media Manager to manage and grow our presence across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. This is a hands-on, in-person role for someone who enjoys filming day-to-day content, developing creative ideas, following current trends, and turning real company activity into engaging social media content. The Social Media Manager will work closely with our leadership, sales, office, and field teams to showcase our people, services, company culture, customer results, and seasonal lawn care campaigns. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, being around employees and customers, directing people during filming, and managing the full content process from idea development through filming, editing, posting, and performance review.
Responsibilities
Film day-to-day content with GreenStripe’s field, sales, office, and leadership teams. Travel locally with team members to capture lawn treatments, customer properties, before-and-after results, and behind-the-scenes footage. Create, edit, schedule, and publish content for Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok. Develop organized monthly social media calendars for review and approval. Produce Reels, TikToks, Stories, photo posts, carousels, employee features, and promotional content. Monitor current trends, sounds, formats, local events, and seasonal topics. Adapt relevant trends to fit GreenStripe’s brand and audience. Coordinate regular filming days with company leadership and employees. Create content for lawn care, pest control, recruiting, referral, educational, and promotional campaigns. Write captions, select hashtags, and develop effective calls to action. Help manage comments, messages, and audience engagement. Maintain a consistent brand voice and visual style. Organize raw footage, edited videos, photographs, testimonials, and customer results. Track reach, engagement, follower growth, leads, and content performance. Assist with occasional company events, employee activities, and time-sensitive content opportunities. Collaborate with GreenStripe’s advertising and marketing partners when necessary. Perform other content and marketing duties as assigned.
Requirements
Experience creating social media content for a company, organization, or personal brand. Strong working knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Reels, and Stories. Experience filming and editing vertical short-form videos. Ability to develop and maintain a monthly content calendar. Awareness of current social media trends, sounds, formats, and platform changes. Strong written communication, caption-writing, spelling, and storytelling skills. Comfortable approaching, directing, and filming employees and customers. Comfortable occasionally appearing on camera. Reliable transportation and the ability to travel locally to customer properties. Ability to work independently and meet posting and production deadlines. Experience with CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, Lightroom, Photoshop, or similar programs. A portfolio or examples of previously created social media content are required. Professional camera, microphone, lighting, drone, or photography equipment is preferred but not required. Photography, videography, graphic design, paid social advertising, or digital marketing experience is a plus. Experience with a home-service, landscaping, lawn care, construction, hospitality, sports, or lifestyle brand is a plus. Availability during GreenStripe’s active season, generally March through November. Occasional evening or weekend availability may be needed for events or special content opportunities.
