About GreenStripe

We Built the Lawn Care Company We Thought Should Exist.

Founded in 2017 in Union, New Jersey, GreenStripe was created with a simple idea: use cleaner, more thoughtful products whenever possible, keep what works, eliminate what doesn't, and deliver the kind of service you'd expect from a private club — not a typical lawn care company.

Why I Started GreenStripe

A Better Lawn Didn't Have to Mean More Chemicals.

When I started GreenStripe in 2017, I wanted to build a lawn care company that could deliver exceptional results while using natural and lower-impact materials whenever and wherever they made sense.

That sent us searching far beyond the typical products used in our industry. We've sourced specialized materials from around the world — from farmed algae produced in Spain to high-quality carbon-based liquids and fruit-derived potassium.

But being natural isn't enough. It has to work.

Over the years, we've tested different materials, learned what performs in Northern New Jersey lawns, and stopped using products that didn't deliver meaningful results. We aren't interested in selling an application simply because we can.

The end result is what matters: a healthier, greener lawn and an experience our members genuinely value.

Better inputs. Brighter tomorrows.

What We Believe

Better Inputs. Better Decisions. Better Results.

"Natural is part of the philosophy. Results are the standard."

  1. 01

    Start With Cleaner Inputs

We seek out high-quality natural and lower-impact materials whenever they can accomplish the job effectively.

  2. 02

    Prove They Work

A product doesn't earn a place in a GreenStripe program because it sounds good on a label. It has to provide meaningful value in the field.

  3. 03

Never Sell an Application Just to Sell an Application

If we don't believe something contributes to the result we're trying to achieve, it doesn't belong in the program.

What Goes Into a GreenStripe Lawn

We'll Go a Long Way for Better Inputs.

  • Close-up of green marine algae growing in shallow clear seawater

    Farmed Algae

Specialized algae-based materials sourced as far away as Spain and incorporated into our programs for plant-stress support where appropriate.

  • Hands holding a mound of rich, dark crumbly compost

    Carbon-Based Inputs

Carefully selected carbon-based materials used as part of our soil-focused approach.

  • Ripe oranges hanging on a sunlit citrus tree branch

    Fruit-Derived Potassium

Plant nutrition doesn't have to come from the same sources everyone else uses.

We don't source products because they make a good marketing story. We source them because we've found a reason for them to be in the program.

The Other Half of GreenStripe

Great Lawn Care Should Feel Like Great Hospitality.

We look outside the lawn care industry for inspiration. Think about the experience at a high-end club or a great hotel. The property is immaculate. The team looks professional. People know their responsibilities. Communication is clear. Details matter. That's the experience we're working to bring to lawn care.

  • Professional Appearance

A consistent, recognizable team and presentation.

  • Educated Team

Training built around each person's position — not simply handing someone a route.

  • Clear Communication

Members should understand what's happening on their property and why.

  • Attention to Detail

The little things around a property are part of the service.

Built Differently

Every Team Has a Superintendent.

GreenStripe isn't built around maximizing the number of stops a technician can complete in a day. Our teams operate under superintendent leadership, creating another level of oversight, education and accountability in the field.

There's a Standard Behind the Stripe.

  • Know the property.
